Biography: Mac Miller
Mac Miller was born Malcolm James McCormick on January 19, 1992 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. At the age of 15, he began his rap career in the Pittsburgh hip hop scene. In 2010, he signed a record deal with Rostrum Records and released his breakthrough mixtapes K.I.D.S. and Best Day Ever. Miller’s debut studio album, Blue Slide Park, became the first independently distributed debut album to top the US Billboard 200 since 1995.
In 2013, he founded the record label imprint REMember Music. After his second studio album, Watching Movies with the Sound Off, he left Rostrum and signed with Warner Bros. Records in 2014. With them, he released four studio albums: GO:OD AM, The Divine Feminine, Swimming, and the posthumous Circles.
For Album Swimming, he was nominated for a Grammy Award for Best Rap Album, this was done so posthumously. He also collaborated as a record producer for many different artists, using the alias ‘Larry Fisherman’.
During his career, Miller struggled with addiction and substance abuse that were often referenced in his lyrics. On September 7, 2018, Miller, it was later reported, passed away from a tragic drug overdose, when cocaine, fentanyl, and alcohol were consumed at his home, he was aged just 26.

SUN ON CAPRICORN-AQUARIUS CUSP
He was born at a time when the Sun was about to move from one sign into the next–or had just done so. The astrological term for this is that he was “born on the cusp”, or that he was a “Cusp Baby”.
