Robyn Rihanna Fenty was born in Barbados on February 20, 1988. She is a singer, actress, and businesswoman who first rose to fame with the release of her first two studio albums in 2005 and 2006. These albums were influenced by Caribbean music and peaked within the top ten of the US Billboard 200 chart.
Since then, Rihanna has released eight more studio albums, including Anti (2016), which topped the Billboard 200 chart. Rihanna is also known for her humanitarian work, entrepreneurship ventures, and involvement in the fashion industry. She founded the nonprofit organization Clara Lionel Foundation and cosmetics brand Fenty Beauty, and she is the first black woman to head a luxury brand for LVMH. In 2021, Rihanna was named a national hero of Barbados.
Rihanna was born in the parish of Third. She later moved to Bridgetown, where she attended Charles F. Broome Memorial School and then Saint Michael’s Private School. Rihanna’s father, Ronald Fenty, is a warehouse supervisor at Imperial Luggage. Her mother, Monica Braithwaite, is a clothing designer originally from Guyana. She began singing at around the age of seven. SUN ON AQUARIUS-PISCES CUSP
she was born at a time when the Sun was about to move from one sign into the next–or had just done so.
